Headlines: Al-Qaida head bin Laden dead

The White House has announced the death of Al-Qaida head Osama Bin Laden.  He is the man responsible for the 9/11 attack in the U.S. He was shot in the head during a raid by the Navy SEAL Team Six.  For more details see http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110502/ap_on_re_us/us_bin_laden

They claimed that they were able to cease his body as proof but no statement as to whether DNA tests have been done.

Finally after a long hunt, their search is over.  What does this mean? Clearly, it is a symbol of psychological triumph by America.  Thus, many people are outside the White House celebrating.  Without a leader, the Al-Qaida has been weakened.  Is the world now safe and at peace? I think not.  I doubt that Al-Qaida operations will stop just by the death of their leader.  The Al-Qaida has many other franchise that it is not that easy to dissolve.  But at least this gave justice to the victims of the 9/11 attack.

Like everyone else, I will be standing by for more details on this news.
