The software that aims to identify rip lossy or lossless are reliable or manufacturers of CDs are decieve us all? What software do you use to test?

I was intrigued by the comments of some visitors who use any software that aims to test the authenticity of an audio rip that the CD sent by our friend and collaborator Jim Spyropoulos had one source of audio files in lossy format (eg . MP3). The CD was bought from Jim's Iris Records.

As this CD was released by another label (Akarma Records) and I got this original CD in my collection, I decided to make the process of ripping and compare both, using Audiochecker software (which many consider to be reliable for this type of test).

The results of both the files it processes (published below), no significant differences.


Then, the doubt is the following:

1) The original source of this CD is so poor in quality and was used both by (Iris Corporatiom - Jim rip and by Akarma Records)? or;

2) The authenticity of software rips don't consider that the original sources of the year 60/70 has numerous deficiencies and that the quality of the audio spectrum for comparison should be extremely different? or;

3) None of this software to test the authenticity conclusive?



I hope the participants of this community who care about the quality of audio, can express their opinions.
