The 5 Gentlemen was a french freakbeat band. Firstr known as The Ambitieux, they came from Corsica but lived in Marseille.

Between 1966 & 1967, they released 5 EP and obtained a modest commercial success with the title « Dis-nous Dylan » (1966).

They also toured and released records in England and in Italy under the name Darwin's Theory.
